The regional delegation of APF Lisbon (Associação para o Planeamento da Família) is organizing the course “Divorce and Parenthood: Psychological Assessment and Intervention”, with the participation of Dr. Nuno Cardoso-Ribeiro, lawyer specialized in Family Law and Dr. Rute Agulhas, Psychologist specialized in Clinical and Health Psychology, Psychotherapy and Justice Psychology and Family Therapist.
Separation or divorce is a highly prevalent social phenomenon, and children’s adjustment depends, above all, on parental adjustment and family dynamics. This course will address separation or divorce in its various dimensions (legal, emotional and social), best practices in forensic evaluation processes and some models and strategies for intervention with children and families.
The course “Divorce and Parenthood: Psychological Assessment and Intervention” will last 15 hours and will take place on May 24 and 31, June 14, 21 and 28, and July 5, from 10 am to 1 pm.
